Paint Your Cocktail: A Night of Colour, Creativity & Connection
After months of planning, refining, and dreaming, my first Paint Your Cocktail workshop finally came to life. What a vibrant, joy-filled evening it was!
A Unique Experience
As with all my day workshops, I wanted this experience to be more than just a guided painting session. It needed to be personal. I always encourage participants to create something that feels uniquely theirs, even as I guide them step by step. Technique is important, yes, but individuality is everything.
The Artistic Journey
When I began designing Paint Your Cocktail, I knew the artwork had to reflect that same ethos. Each canvas started with a shared border and visual rhythm, but from there, the journey was entirely up to the artist. I created three cocktail-themed stencils, each one hand-tailored to the event’s playful spirit. These stencils provided guests with a starting point, but the final piece? That was all them.
Some chose to paint the cocktail they were sipping that night. Others thought outside the glass, matching their artwork to their home décor, their nail polish, or even a cherished holiday memory. One couple created a “his and hers” duo: same colour palette, two totally different styles. One guest matched her painting to her nails. Another recreated a cocktail she’d had on a beach in Spain. Every canvas told a story.
An Electric Atmosphere
The atmosphere at Kitchen 126 was electric. The food was delicious, the cocktails were divine, and the garden was bursting with colour and laughter. It was a night of bold choices, quiet creativity, and shared inspiration. Watching everyone lean into their own style, whether subtle or striking, was deeply rewarding.
Behind the Scenes
Behind the scenes, there were weeks of planning, prepping, and tweaking. But it paid off. Seeing each person walk away with a piece that felt personal and proud was everything I’d hoped for. This workshop reminded me why I do what I do: to create spaces where people feel empowered to express themselves, to experiment, and to surprise themselves with what they can create.

Thank you to everyone who joined me. I can’t wait to do it again. Watch out for future events; I have lots of creative ideas up my sleeve.
