Four Exhibitions, One Season of Growth: A Studio Update

The past few months have felt like a quiet turning point in my practice—one of those rare seasons where the work leaves the studio and begins to find its own life out in the world. I’m thrilled (and still a little stunned) to share that I currently have four pieces on exhibition across Coventry and Leamington, each marking a different milestone in my creative journey.

🌫 Silent Reverie — Leamington Art Gallery Open

The biggest news first: Silent Reverie, from my Echoes of the Fog collection, has been accepted into the Leamington Art Gallery Open—my first ever open exhibition. This piece has always held a special stillness for me, and seeing it chosen for such a respected public show feels like a quiet affirmation of the direction my work is taking. It’s on display until March, and I’m genuinely honoured to be part of this year’s selection.

🌁 Whispers Beyond the Horizon — Stonleigh Arms Gallery, Leamington

Another piece from Echoes of the Fog, Whispers Beyond the Horizon, has found a home at the newly opened Stonleigh Arms Gallery. This venue has such a fresh, intimate energy, and the piece sits beautifully within their inaugural exhibition. It’s been lovely to see this collection begin to disperse into different spaces, each one holding its own atmosphere.

🌬 Drifting Boundaries — The LSA Art Room

The third work from the same collection, Drifting Boundaries, is now showing at The LSA Art Room with Leamington Studio Artists. This piece is slightly smaller but carries the same layered, mist-like textures that define the series. Having it included in their latest exhibition feels like another step in building local connections and sharing the quieter, more contemplative side of my practice.

🌸 Efflorescence — Albany Theatre, Coventry

And finally, a shift in tone and collection: Efflorescence, my first abstract portrait from Through Her Eyes, is currently exhibited at the Albany Theatre in Coventry. This show celebrates women artists for Women’s Independence Day, and it means a great deal to have this piece—“a woman in bloom”—included in a space dedicated to honouring women’s creative voices. This portrait marks the beginning of a new body of work exploring identity, inner landscapes, and the emotional resonance held in the gaze.

A Moment to Pause

As someone who often works quietly and steadily behind the scenes, having four pieces out in the world at once feels both surreal and deeply encouraging. Each exhibition has its own character, and together they trace a path through the themes I’ve been exploring: fog, memory, boundaries, and the quiet strength of women’s stories.

It’s been a season of saying yes—to opportunities, to vulnerability, to growth—and I’m excited to see where this momentum leads next.
